I am a Professor of Philosophy at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. I have written about philosophy of economics (ethics, social choice theory, rationality, and philosophy of science on economics), modelling and simulation, philosophy of the social sciences and confirmation. I have also constructed some models myself, on strategic voting, which is why some of my publications have appeared in economics and political science journals. At the moment I am working on modelling, simulated data, philosophy of climate science and of macroeconomics, and also some philosophy of meta-analysis and statistics. You will find almost all my papers at https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Aki_Lehtinen, or listed thematically at http://www.mv.helsinki.fi/home/alehtine/akilehtinen.htm

Teaching

I am currently teaching philosophy of science for graduate students, Progress in Contemporary Philosophy of Science for master students, and Philosophy of models and simulations for undergraduates.
