Hou Zhenwu was born in January 1988. He studied at the College of Philosophy of Nankai University from 2006 to 2015, and received a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a PhD degree. 2016-2018, he engaged in postdoctoral research at the School of Philosophy of Beijing Normal University. Now he is an Assistant Professor at the College of Philosophy of Nankai University. His area of research is Western Marxist philosophy, especially the social critical theory of Frankfurt School.
